Driving through the desert in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, I spotted this little mission all by itself and took a couple of photos. We didn’t see anyone around, so I didn’t know if it was in use or not. I loved the way the sun was shining down on this lonesome little chapel. It was a hot day and I’m sure the stones and tile roof were warm.
Art - no matter what kind or media - has been my muse all my life. Light, shadow, color, contrast - it's all there. Oils and acrylics are my favorite media. I've had many mentors who've encouraged me throughout the years and have studied with several successful and well-known painters.
